One of the questions I often get asked is: How did you get started in all of this?
Let me share with you a glimpse of my journey, as I embrace my role as a planner, stylist, and full-time optimist. My life’s purpose has been devoted to making the world around me a more beautiful place, and it all began with a humble upbringing that I could never have fathomed would lead me here.
Amsterdam was where I first saw the light of day, but my childhood was a mix of magical experiences in Jakarta and Amstelveen, a suburban part of Amsterdam. Little did I know that these diverse backgrounds would play a significant role in shaping my path towards the wedding industry.
People often ask me, “How did you get started in all of this?” It all stems from an insatiable curiosity and a burning desire to carve my own path in life. Growing up surrounded by family and friends who always found reasons to celebrate filled my world with joy. Now, I strive to unite people and bring back the happiness that has always been at the heart of celebrations.
But my journey didn’t unfold effortlessly; it began with a yearning to explore my creative calling. Realizing that creativity alone wouldn’t suffice, I set off to Rotterdam to pursue a degree in Hospitality & Event Management. During those transformative years, I discovered an extraordinary blend of interests and skills within me. This discovery led me to volunteer and work at numerous events for esteemed clients, spanning from corporate gatherings to exhilarating sports tournaments.
After graduation, my passion for the hospitality and event industry persisted. However, there came a moment when I felt an irresistible pull to create something of my own—a venture that would leave an indelible mark on people’s lives.
In a world where traditional norms have evolved, weddings hold even more significance. They serve as a time for two families and sets of friends to come together, celebrating the union of two souls. My heartfelt mission is to curate weddings that are deeply personal and truly unite these individuals in joyous harmony.
My beliefs are deeply ingrained: whatever I do, I do with my whole being—my time, my energy, and all the love in my heart. My business thrives on experience, fueled by genuine compassion for others. We strive to make our work not only fun for ourselves but also an absolute delight for our cherished clients.
